Guided Training Walks
Training while on a walk allows you to practice a variety of known skills, and working away from home helps your dog learn to deal with real-world distractions. So, what could be better than being accompanied by an experienced professional to help guide things along and return your dog walks to the enjoyable and rewarding experience they can be for both you and your dog.
Guided walks usually are for one hour in your favoured location, practising in real time. It is always better if you can come along, but if necessary I will collect your dog and set about resolving any issues you have with your walk.

Rescue & Rehomed Dogs
These dogs usually come with some emotional baggage and so setting them off to a good start in their new home is really important. I offer a Rescue Dog Package designed to support you from the moment you decide to rehome an unwanted companion.
I highly recommend that multiple sessions are booked to provide continuity and support through the settling process. The package includes:
- A 90 minute initial consult and home visit to assess your dog, help with any initial queries and address your specific issues.
- Three 1 hour personalised follow up sessions to review how your dog has settled and address any issues (to be used within 4 months of initial consult).
- A written follow up training plan after each visit to ensure that you get the most out of each visit.
Your Rescue Dog Package investment is £225
Enrichment (It’s magic!)
Enrichment is essential for dogs because it provides vital mental and physical stimulation. Engaging their senses allows and encourages them to naturally sniff, chew, and problem-solve. This wards off boredom, lowers stress and anxiety, and helps prevent destructive behaviours like excessive barking or chewing. Our dogs live in a human world quite happily most of the time but sometimes, they just need to be dogs!
Below are just a few I can help you with. These can be delivered as individual sessions, or occasionally I run group taster sessions and classes.
Scent Work
Dog’s noses are used across the world to search for drugs, bombs, missing people, even for medical alerts and detecting cancer cells!
Scent work is suitable for ALL dogs, whether they are slightly unsociable, energetic, elderly or young. There are many benefits I wouldn’t even know where to start!
Just 10 minutes of scent work can be the equivalent of up to an hour-long run. Activities are designed to be fun, leading up to real environment ‘search’ challenges. Taster sessions and short courses are a really fun bonding activity to do with your dog.
Free Work
This is a low-impact, dog-led enrichment activity involving sensory ‘obstacles’ with varied surfaces and objects which dogs explore at their own pace. It engages their senses, and allows independent choices. It is very effective for reducing stress and building confidence.
Free Work activities can be set up inside or outdoors and are great for all ages. Giving dogs choice builds confidence, calm and resilience.
